Who Is This For?
This session is for you if you’re experiencing:
A loss or grief that still feels unresolved, whether from death, separation, identity change, or simply life not unfolding as you hoped. (No matter how long ago or how recent it was)
A repeating emotional pattern you can’t seem to break, no matter how much inner work you’ve done.
Feelings of over-giving, resentment, guilt, or emotional exhaustion.
Disconnection from your creativity, your body, or your joy.
A longing to understand yourself and your emotions more truthfully, beyond traditional self-help or therapy language.
It’s also for practitioners, care professionals, and space holders who hold a lot for others and are ready to be held, seen, and replenished.
And equally, if you’re newer to inner-work and curious to explore new ways of understanding yourself - this will meet you where you are, as long as you have a genuine willingness to know and express more of your True Self.
Why It’s Important To Look At Grief
Unacknowledged grief has a way of shaping our lives in the shadows.
Many of the struggles we face - burnout, disconnection, people-pleasing, perfectionism, over-responsibility - are not character flaws or mindset problems. They are often the echoes of unacknowledged grief.
When grief is left unattended, it seeps into our patterns and choices.
It can make us over-give in relationships, cling to control, or disconnect from our creative flow. It can keep us in cycles of exhaustion or self-doubt, trying to fill the space where something unnamed has been lost.
By turning toward grief with curiosity and compassion, we begin to see the truth beneath our struggles.
We realise that what we’ve been calling “stress” or “burnout” is often the body’s way of mourning… Mourning what’s gone missing in ourselves, our communities, or our world.
This work matters because the sustainability of our care depends on it.
We cannot continue to pour from empty hearts. Revolutionary Grief invites us to honour our pain as sacred information: as a call to realign our giving with authenticity, our service with artistry, and our leadership with love.
When we tend to our grief, we don’t lose our strength… We find the kind of strength that doesn’t require us to keep pretending we’re fine. We rediscover the art of being human, whole, and wildly alive.
How Revolutionary Grief Differs from Traditional Grief Models
Traditional approaches often seek resolution; Revolutionary Grief seeks liberation.
Revolutionary Grief asks: What is grief here to teach me about myself? How can I meet this experience as an invitation into more of my true self-expression?
Most grief support models aim to relieve pain, make sense of loss, and help you find new meaning. These are valuable - but Revolutionary Grief goes beyond comfort and coping. It’s not about “moving on.” It’s about moving inward.
Revolutionary Grief invites you to explore how grief reveals the truth of who you are.
Instead of trying to fix or transcend pain, we learn from it - to listen to what grief is asking of us. This approach sees grief not as an obstacle to overcome but as a teacher of self-expression, creativity, and liberation.
Where traditional models often focus on recovery, Revolutionary Grief focuses on reclamation. Reclaiming your voice. Reclaiming your power. Reclaiming the parts of yourself that went quiet when the world told you to “be strong.”
Through this work, grief becomes a sacred portal - to remembering who you truly are beneath all the unacknowledged pain, all the expectations, and all the survival strategies. It’s not only about healing; it’s about coming alive.

Meet Your Mentor
Tessa Alexa Stanford
For 15+ years, Tessa has worked as a psychotherapist and leadership mentor across the fields of social welfare, mental health, and personal development - supporting big-hearted humans from all walks of life.
Her experience spans from working with some of the most vulnerable in society - including children in protection, survivors of domestic violence, and asylum seekers - to guiding care professionals, parents, creators, and leaders who are daring to build a new world and break free from inherited patterns of care, service, and self-sacrifice.
Throughout her career, one truth has remained constant: grief is the most unspoken force shaping our lives.
Tessa has witnessed how rarely grief is acknowledged, how few frameworks exist for navigating it, and how often it is carried in silence - mistaken for weakness, or bypassed entirely. Tessa's work reframes grief not as something to fix, but as something to understand as a natural part of existence, and something to meet with reverence and courage.
She believes that when we learn to meet grief fully - not just the grief of death, but the grief woven through the impermanence of life - we begin to trust life again.
Tessa’s vision is that this work not only transforms individuals but also redefines how we care for ourselves, each other, and the systems we serve within.
Through Revolutionary Grief, she invites people to reclaim their relationship with grief, restore their trust in life, and become the love that changes the world.
